Rental of Multnomah Friends Meetinghouse at 4312 SE Stark Street

We offer the Multnomah Friends Meetinghouse for groups and organizations to use, and we like to accommodate good causes like yours.

Steps to renting space at the Multnomah Friends Meetinghouse:

1. See chart below to review rental rates.
2. Review the user agreement.
3. Email hearthkeeper@multnomahfriends.org or call 503-232-2822 to check availability and/or schedule a building tour.
4. Print out user agreement form, fill out, make copy.
5. All first time users are required to meet with us and have a tour of the building prior to using the space.

The layout:

The Multnomah Friends Meetinghouse has two floors. The street level is 750 sq/ft., with a full kitchen, plus two restrooms, and a baby nursery. All are handicap accessible. There is a small elevator and a wide stairwell to the second story. The second floor is 1500sq/ft. and carpeted. Windows are on the east and west walls and a large skylight (6'x12') is above the center of the room. There are two restrooms on this level as well. This space is good for yoga, meditation, singing, etc. We do not allow food or drink on the second story. Both floors have pianos.

Maximum capacity is 100 upstairs, 50 downstairs.

We require the full rental amount two weeks prior to building use. If event is cancelled, we will refund 1/2 of the amount. Regular renters can keep the key to the building throughout their use. One time or occasional renters must acquire a key for each use.

Rental Rates:

* Please note that the City has imposed parking conditions regarding the use of the Multnomah Meetinghouse by groups larger than 50 people. For groups of over 50 people, off street parking will need to be arranged at least 30 days in advance with the hearthkeeper.
